Our own Dan Nelson has been a hard-core birder since the age of 12 and is now a biologist for Calif. Dept. of Fish and Game. He uses his camera with infinite skill and patience to capture remarkable photos of the shorebirds, and pelagic (oceanic) marine mammals, rare and resident, of Sonoma County and its near-shore waters. We are fortunate to have him present this beautiful and informative program that will be of interest to all birders and nature lovers.

The meeting begins at 7:30 PM at the First Presbyterian
Church, Ingram Hall, 1550 Pacific Avenue, Santa Rosa.
There is no fee, and the public is welcome.
