Madrone Volunteers

At the September meeting Madrone Audubon welcomed our new Corresponding Secretary, Julie Skopal. Julie filled in temporarily last summer, and has agreed to continue. Thank you, Julie!

Several important spots still are empty, however. If you can help, please call Joannie Dranginis at 523-4373.

Audubon Adventures
Getting new teachers signed up for the Audubon Adventures classroom enrichment program is a job that really makes a difference. Last year's chairman Robert Evans has set up the 1998-99 participants, so his replacement will have plenty of lead time to prepare for next year. This is a great job for a teacher or former teacher.

Outreach
This mostly involves taking educational materials to community exhibits and events. There's plenty of room for creativity, and activities can be tailored to your own schedule. A chairman and some willing volunteers are needed.

Hospitality
We still need greeters for monthly membership meetings. If you can help with a meeting or two in the coming year, please call Peter Leveque, 542-8946.
