Welcome New Members

The Conservation Arena

Today, Sonoma County faces many important conservation issues. Many of them are complex and the situations change from day to day, so a newsletter such as this one is very limited in what it can do to keep you informed. We do, however, try to cover environmental issues that are of special importance in Sonoma County, to keep you informed about Chapter actions, and to encourage your input, participation, and action.

The "front line" in Madrone Audubon's conservation policy is the Conservation Committee, co-chaired by Clyde Nance and Diane Hichwa. The committee meets at least once a month, on the second Monday, and all interested members are invited to participate. For information, please call Clyde at 539-7448.
