Field Trip Report On November 8, 1997, a very nice day, 13 birders joined the Taylors at Bodega Bay. A total of 76 species including a very good look at a Peregrine Falcon and several Red Knots were seen. A Whimbrel was observed at Bodega Head cracking and eating mussels and a Western Gull was swallowing a starfish.
