Annual Leveque Lecture

Sea Otters

Glenn R. VanBlaricom, Ph.D., associate professor in the University of Washington School of Fisheries, will deliver the Third Annual Peter Leveque Natural History Lecture at Santa Rosa Junior College, Friday, October 24 at 12 noon in the Newman Auditorium, Emeritus Hall. His topic is, "A Time Traveler Looks at Sea Otters." Dr. VanBlaricom, a leading authority on sea otter ecology and conservation, will review the history of the sea otter from the icy Pleistocene era to the present day.

The Lecture, which is open to the public, was established in honor of Peter Leveque, Past President of Madrone Audubon, when he retired after 35 years as one of the College's foremost biology instructors .

Parking is available for a minimal fee in the Plover Library-Emeritus parking lot off of Elliot Street.
