Madrone's Web Page DebutsIt's been months in the making and now it's ready for prime time. Madrone Audubon's page on the World Wide Web* is up and running. To check it out for yourself, just aim your favorite browser to 'http://audubon.sonoma.net'. You'll be able to find a continuously updated calendar of events, the latest issue of the Leaves (long before your mailman does), back issues of the Leaves (long after your copy has been recycled), and many other features. We still need help editing the content of the Web page. You don't necessarily need to be connected to the net yourself to help, though that would be a plus. If you'd like to get involved, contact Malcolm Blanchard at 996-0935 or via e-mail at 'mab@mabco.com'. ______ *A Web page is a location on the World Wide Web that makes information available to any computer user in the world who has a connection to the Internet. Such a connection requires the minimum of a personal computer, a modem and an account with an Internet Service Provider, such as America Online. |
