Officers Nominated The following slate of officers for 1997-98 was presented at Madrone Audubon's April 21 general meeting. Election and installation will be held at the Annual Membership Meeting on May 19. President: Jeff Holtzman Vice-president: Dan Kahane Recording Secretary: Claire Shurvinton Corresponding Secretary: Sherrie Thomas Treasurer: Bob Burness This will be the second term for Holtzman, Kahane, and Burness, and the third for Shurvinton. The only new nominee is Corresponding Secretary candidate Sherrie Thomas, who has been managing mail orders for Madrone's Breeding Bird Atlas. The Nominating Committee, consisting of Diane Hichwa and Peter Leveque, expressed thanks to the nominees, and especially to the incumbents, both for the Board's effectiveness during the past year and for their willingness to serve again. Those who like term limits take note: President and Vice-president are limited to two one-year terms by the MAS Bylaws.
