The Return of the Osprey NewAppointments Requesting an Address Change | Audubon on the Air Audubon has become a co-sponsor of producer Jerry Kay's popular Bay Area"Science in Action" radio series. This means the series will air75 90-second Audubon programs between now and June, 1997. Each includesa brief interview with a wildlife expert or Audubon activist, followed byinformation on how to get involved with conservation or Audubon activities.The Audubon segments are funded in part by a settlement resulting from aspill at the Shell Oil refinery in Martinez several years ago. Programmingis being coordinated by staff of the Richardson Bay Audubon Center, withrepresentatives of the Bay Area Audubon Chapters. "Science in Action" was developed for the California Academyof Sciences and now serves several other organizations as well. It can currentlybe heard at the following times: KQED (88.5 FM) at 3:58 p.m. Monday through Friday KCBS (740 AM) at 5:30 and 9:23 Saturday, 7:26 Sunday, 1:21 and 3:21 a.m.Monday, and 4:23 a.m. Monday-Saturday KDFC (102.1 FM) at 6:30 a.m., 6:00 p.m., or 9:30 p.m. Saturday or 2:00p.m. or 6:00 p.m. Sunday. |
