Dr. Rubin is a renownedlecturer at Santa Rosa Junior College who just recently was named theCalifornia College Professor of the Year by the Carnegie Foundation for theAdvancement of Teaching. During 1990 and 1991, Dr. Rubin participated inresearch on these seals who live on the fast ice of the St. Lawrence River. Dr.Rubin will illustrate his discussion of the research with not-to-be-missedslides.
