Question 7. Please use the following space to let us know anything else you particularly like or dislike about the Leaves, subjects you would like to see covered, or other comments.

I'm a relatively new member. I think you're doing a good job. I'll learn more as I go and will thus be better able to offer suggestions & criticisms.

Thank you for a very interesting newsletter!

How to get help in identifying lots of birds on my hill.

I think it's terrific. It's so professional! I've been a member for years and it's so superior to our little homespun IBM typed Leaves (of the 70's and early 80's)!

More stories on birds in the backyard.

Find it a valuable resource. As a novice birder, I've learned a lot already. More local bird info would be lovely.

Leaves is great. Keep up the good work.

Please don't leave out "Observations," like last month (April). How about a separate newsletter for Pee Wee. More on birds. I like coverage of political issues like Geysers.

I like the moderately short hikes but feel we linger too long in one spot sometimes. (I like the people who take the time to lead.)

Note: Due to a 'leg' problem am unable to hike right now so will miss some good trips.

Annual financial report could be included.

Suggest a quarterly or bi-annual issue instead of monthly. I receive many environmental periodicals & would like to cut down on volume.

Particularly like calendar & observations. Would like to know if there is a Sonoma County Rare bird internet site. By the time I get "observations" the birds are long gone. No. Calif. Rare bird phone number is not specific enough. Perhaps I'll find this up-to-date info. on your website.

We are very senior members & can not be active. Like to support Audubon Soc. by paying dues but don't participate in any activities.

Lots of bird trips during the week when we work.

I think the Pee Wee Audubon is a terrific program. What a great way to get young people interested in nature. I intend to get my grandchildren involved as soon as their age is appropriate.

I love bird sightings/observations, field trip notes & coverage of environmental issues. If anything, please expand!

I enjoy your publication, but since I'm strictly an amateur who "birds" in my backyard and neighborhood, I'd like more info & pictures (drawn or photos) on birds found close to homes, farms and fields in our area. Thanks so much!

Really well done newsletter with a wide and varied appeal - wish I had more time to go birding!

More detailed description of good local habitats where birds are being sighted - ie map of good locals.

A beautifully done newsletter. I read it cover to cover immediately. Thank you.

It's a great publication - The addition of photos this month were a great improvement.

A very fine newsletter. Look forward to it eagerly.

I find it an interesting publication. I'm mostly interested in the Calendar.

It's fine, but would like more photos.

Thanks for doing a great job! I look forward to reading each issue.

Leaves has been my primary source of late regarding the wastewater pipeline. Keep up the good work!

Earlier delivery - like being alerted as to current environmental battles & suggested actions to take.

Really enjoy the Leaves.

As habitat disappears, you don't ask enough of members to take action: to phone or write politicians, to make our voices heard. We are really missing a grand opportunity to promote concerned citizen action. Why not have, in every issue, a small box of recommended actions that members should take to make our world more liveable for birds and ourselves? Mayacamas Sanctuary is a prime example. We need to ask members for help.

I have especially enjoyed articles about interesting species, i.e. Wood vs Mandarin Duck, White-tailed Kite, Vaux Swift.

Useful, good looking publication.

Terrific newsletter. Thanks to all who work on it & the bird walks.

Leaves needs to be delivered to Canyon Ranch in Bolinas! They need them on the welcome table.

Good readability, attractive.

Overall a satisfactory - useful & readable.
